Spring 2008 sees a major milestone in the regeneration of High Wycombe. The opening of Eden in March is the result of three years of extensive work in the town centre. Its opening brings new jobs, new shopping experiences, new leisure opportunities and a whole new vibrant lifestyle to the town.

The work will go on around the town, as Sainsbury’s open a major new store adjacent to Eden, new businesses including national brands open elsewhere in town, a new sports centre gets developed and other schemes add to the thriving atmosphere.

To celebrate the new High Wycombe that is now emerging, an exciting series of events are taking place in the town in the days and weeks following the opening of Eden. Embracing Frogmore, Desborough Road, High Street, Castle Street and the railway station, as well as Eden and all points in between, the events will offer a riot of colour and energy and a chance for you to get involved.

The new High Wycombe is going to be a very popular destination. To help you get there as easily as possible you can use the links on the right to pick the best way to get into town and to plan your journey and car parking.

People living and working in High Wycombe have had a lot to deal with since the major construction works started in 2004. We asked for your patience and promised the pain would be worth the gain.
